Do you see any cultural or ethical implications of the new role women will have within Saudi Arabia?
ETHICAL, CULTURAL, AND PROFESSIONAL RELATIONSHIPSCOLLAPSE
Ethics in Saudi Arabia are used to oversee employees; hence, have a great influence on their assurance and dedication in their work. The code of ethics an organization utilizes instills satisfactory strategies and conduct into the workforce, motivating them to exercise more professionalism, which in turn, facilitates the realization of organizational objectives. When implementing organizational change, ethics help pioneers of the idea to have significant moral standards that help the rest of the employees to attain the required organization level of expertise. This is evident from Grant & Jordan (2015) “the leader’s job is to create an environment where every employee has the chance to collaborate, innovate and excel.” In addition, appropriate ethical administration enhances an organization’s unsavory reputation in its relevant area of operation, thus, enhancing organizational business. Ethics ensures that each individual handles his/her duties with due diligence, an aspect that is crucial in the attainment of the required benchmarks in terms of quality delivery; hence, instrumental during the implementation of the overall organizational change.
Organizational culture is also pivotal in organizational change in Saudi Arabia, in that both old and new employees tend to adhere to a particular code of moral conduct that in turn, develops into a hierarchical culture that the rest of the organization has to observe for its success. In most cases, pioneers of the business idea that has succeeded tend to display a particular conduct that they expect everybody to cling to in a bid to get the best output from it as compared to the previous results realized from the same approach. Apparently, most organizations nurture the culture they want through rewarding employees who depicts the required traits and constancy that match with the organizational code of ethics, given that it demonstrates one’s level of professionalism, which is an essential factor that facilitate the realization of organizational objectives.
